To let you know about new projects and current work
I will attempt to keep this page up to date, for visitors who are interested in what I am doing at the moment.
I created the emotifs sculpture range as gifts to celebrate special occasions. I have them cast from my clay original into a bronze effect resin.
I am in the process of developing a 'new baby' wall relief for the emotifs range, which I hope to get up onto the site by September. You will be able to personalise this piece with the baby's name and date of birth.
Most of my work is cast into cold-cast or hot metal bronze, in limited edition.
These editioned works usually sell through galleries or on the Londonart website.
I have recently finished a 4-day show just outside Nottingham where I demonstrate by working at a piece (in clay) next to my stand (see picture).
The small piece in front is a sketch study that I made quickly to capture an idea. I am using that as reference as I work up the idea.
I have the completed work from this years show currently drying in my studio in Broxbourne, Herts. When dry it will be fired and then I will take it to a caster who makes a rubber mould, into which he casts a mixture of finely ground bronze and resin to produce the work as a cold-cast bronze, which I will probably edition at thirty.
I hope that you like my work. I am adding a guest book to my site for use if you have any questions or comments.
Thanks for your interest.
